About the Role

We are seeking an operationally sophisticated  Graphic Designer  to redefine the digital visual standards of our legal and professional services footprint. This is not a role for an entry-level visual artist or a generic layout designer. We require an elite design leader who understands that in the professional services sector, design is an asset of trust, reputation, and risk containment.

The ideal candidate will combine a deep, decade-long background in global brand operations, corporate governance, and complex asset sourcing with advanced expertise in front-end information design. You will take absolute ownership of our digital storefronts—transforming complex regulatory requirements (such as SRA cost transparency mandates and GDPR privacy frameworks) into clean, premium, high-authority visual systems and intuitive client-onboarding interfaces.

Core Responsibilities

  • Visual Systems & Brand Governance: Direct the creation of ultra-minimalist, high-authority visual design systems that communicate institutional prestige and align perfectly with regulatory transparency rules.

  • Information Architecture & Triage Design: Layout complex data structures (pricing arrays, complaints procedures, and mandatory legal disclosures) into highly legible, conversion-optimized, and compliant front-end interfaces.

  • Intake User Experience (UX/UI): Design the complete human-centered interface for our proprietary Veritas Intake Engine, creating intuitive, secure, and conversational micro-interactions that gather client intent seamlessly.

  • Visual Data Mapping: Oversee the visual onboarding journey, ensuring that user inputs are structured beautifully at the UI layer before being securely transmitted into backend case management software (Clio, LEAP).

  • Corporate Alignment & Training: Audit existing legacy websites, build modern design toolkits and component libraries, and guide internal stakeholders through the visual and operational transformation process.

Required Experience & Skills

  • 10+ Years in Global Corporate Operations or Sourcing: A proven history managing high-stakes brand compliance, vendor networks, and strict corporate standards (directly mirroring extensive multi-national tenure).

  • Advanced Expertise in B2B UI/UX Design: A portfolio showing a masterful control of typography, hierarchy, white space, and dark-mode layout systems designed explicitly for premium, risk-averse audiences.

  • Regulatory Design Familiarity: The ability to dissect complex compliance rules (like the SRA Transparency Rules) and translate them into beautiful, seamless interface elements rather than clumsy warning blocks.

  • Design Systems Mastery: Deep technical fluency in building unified component libraries (Figma, design tokens) that bridge the gap between creative visual layouts and front-end development constraints.

  • The Clinical Critic Tone: A professional presentation style that rejects superficial creative "marketing hype" in favor of structured, purposeful, and outcome-driven design systems.

About the Role

This is a mid-level position offering immense operational autonomy. You will work directly alongside our Lead Systems Architect and Head of Design to audit, validate, and secure the data pipelines we deploy for our clients. You will move past theoretical security and take hands-on ownership of risk containment, compliance mapping, and threat mitigation in live production and staging environments.

Core Responsibilities

  • Data Flow Auditing & Privacy Shielding: Validate the integrity of our front-end client ingestion pipelines, ensuring client-side PII (Personally Identifiable Information) masking and encryption models operate flawlessly before data transit.

  • API & Webhook Security: Monitor and harden secure data transit routes (HTTPS, TLS 1.3, JSON payloads) moving from client storefronts into Practice Management Systems (such as Clio and LEAP) and Microsoft 365 environments.

  • Vendor Risk & Compliance Documentation: Assist in compiling and maintaining Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs), security whitepapers, and documentation required to pass strict legal-sector vendor procurement audits.

  • Framework Alignment: Ensure internal and client-facing system architectures are rigorously mapped to UK GDPR, data minimization principles, and Cyber Essentials/ISO 27001 control frameworks.

  • Threat Modeling & Testing: Conduct continuous, baseline vulnerability assessments and simulation reviews of our sandboxed staging environments to eliminate risk before live deployment.

What We Are Looking For

  • 2–3 Years of Practical IT/Cybersecurity Experience: Ideally coming from an infrastructure support, system administration, or junior SOC analyst background looking to step into an architecture-focused role.

  • Solid Understanding of Network & Data Security: Practical knowledge of encryption standards, secure API integration, token-based authentication, and cloud data residency rules (specifically within AWS UK regions).

  • Familiarity with the Microsoft 365 Ecosystem: A strong grasp of cloud security baselines, access controls, and data loss prevention within SharePoint and Teams.

  • An Analytical, Risk-First Mindset: Someone who rejects buzzwords and values clean, auditable documentation and structural data containment.

  • Relevant Foundation Certifications (Highly Valued but Not Mandatory): CompTIA Security+, CEH, or equivalent practical evidence of hands-on security testing.
